Great write up! Welcome to our little pond and what we feel is the Mecca of all Performance Boat Events!!! You chose a great 1st time to come. This being the 25th anniversary it was one to remember. Please come back next year. The also said 224 wont stand long, My Way was turned to 3000hp and is capable of 5000hp.....could be interesting...

I am within earshot of the course and your coverage and pictures added to this local's experience. I am glad that you got to enjoy, not only the great boats, but the great hospitality here on the lake. All are welcome here.

Mark your calenders everyone. Week and weekend before Labor Day 2014.

I've run the Shootout four times. If anyone is considering doing it... just do it. Great event to be a part of.

Thanks for your perspective. That's the best coverage I've seen this year, period.

Thank you for the kind words, and welcome to our site. After I posted my little write up, I realized how much I'd forgotten to include. Our first night at Captain Ron's ended with our waiter telling us that even if he won the lottery, he would still work for Captain Ron. I didn't get to spend much time with Ron, but from what many people said, he's a great guy. Doesn't surprise me, everyone we met was extremely friendly. But it does sound like Ron has the patience of Job. I'm still in a bit of a spin from the last few days. It was a fantastic weekend that will not soon be forgotten. LOTO is now definitely on our annual must do event list. Right along side; Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving and The 4th of July

This was the first time I have been to LOTO.Let me tell you that of all the years that I have been "boating" that there is no comparison. I am extremely grateful that my friend Kap asked me to be his wingman the for this amazing event. It is a week I will never forget, he taught me more about boating at a whole new leveln and I thank him. I also had the opportunity to meet and spend some time with Mr and Mrs Hotboat. Whether it was just chilling having a cold drink or blasting across the water in Kaps 32 DW, it was great to be with them both. Hope to see you all again in the near future. And I do agree that Capt Rons pizza is pretty damn good! Lol

I hope you guys made it home finally. What a blast!! Great meeting you and thanks again for your help shuttling us wherever we wanted to go. Let me know when you're ready to do Parker and we'll hook up and do a little boating. Glad to see you here too!

Hey Guys, sorry I missed you out there, wanted to take you guys for a ride! 1 Bad thing about Loto is cellphone service is bigtime sketchy so communicating is a lil tuff. Glad you guys finally made it out there though and checked out the shootout, definitely probably the premier event for some of the baddest boats in the US. We gotta get together next year for sure and we can all start planning from now!!

Bummed we missed you guys for sure. But we'll be back. We'll also be kinda close to you in early November. Orlando for 7 days or so. Maybe we can come by then. Your boat looked good. I have more pics I'll post up soon.
