Not sure what Evergreen does exactly, but I think it's covert. They have a private airfield here and handle mostly 747's.

They are mostly a contract cargo company that contracts with the Military and other entities. They also have one of these 747's set up as a firefighting tanker that they lease out. The Tanker flew about 600 feet above my house when it was first built. I heard it, ran outside and I thought it was Air Force One at first. LOL. They are currently having some financial difficulties and rumors are they will cease operations at the end of this month. Who knows.
This plane is in front of the Evergreen Aviation Museum which is where the Spruce Goose currently lives.

I've been out to Evergreen outside of Tucson a couple of times. There's a fairly public access area, then it goes all military with vehicle inspections. I was out there to quote a repair on a semi truck trailer that had an accident. I had to see inside and was given the ole stink eye..... they eventually opened it up. It was a mobile Apache Helicopter training trailer. Had about 6 built in simulators. Pretty cool.
