    Those are some good old pics Wheeler! Any idea how many guys have drivin the Climax BFH, seems like a quite few over the years. Nice find on the Verns Marine Hondo Boats receipt ... Vern Amaral was the guy in the BFF Sanger that crashed with Caselli a couple pages back here

    Looks like one of that cabinet maker, Marvin Zepede, he had a cabinet shop in Paramount back in the early '60's an he lived in Whiitier,an WAS gonna go into the boat biz.......and Then again, it Might be one of Gaylord's early boat's ?.....................definately NOT a Sanger.............just my .02 cent's worth.

    Bob, what if it also had an interior chain that ran under one ouput shaft and then over the other side.....that might counter rotate the outputs....I dunno..

    You are correct on a couple points. The boat is not a Sanger, the builder did live in Whittier and was a cabinet maker.


    Carl should know what make of boat it is.

    Our 14' Glaspar w/ a 55hp Evinrude

    Buena Vista mid 70's. Our Glaspar and our friends flatty. Sheriff ran him off the lake that afternoon. Said he was hot rodding it.
