Getting on the Banned Wagon?

So, PVHC's thread got me thinking. How does this work?

I've been on every boating message board there is, and other message boards too, since they appeared on the net...but I've never found myself being banned, placed in time-out, infracted, retracted, redacted....nothing.

Is it really due to pissing off a single person, or is it that some people just don't know when (or can't) STFU?

that's because you don't know where the buttons are and when to push them.

It can be due to a single person. Or it can be the general wishes of the core group.
It can go the opposite way as well. Grads can shit on the floor and get away with it here, because here is like the cute puppy, not so much on other sites.
