If your talking about ANY gas class, blown or unblown, I think if you bother to look, you are very wrong. No hemis are sitting records anywhere in anything with the possible exception of a super stock class or 2 at the asphalt drags. I think you'll find waaaay more records held by Chevy than Mopar, in ALL motorsports, not just asphalt drags. Its not even a contest.
On fuel, yeah, but don't confuse those engines with ANYTHING Chrysler ever built. Far from it.
But this isn't a pissing match about horsepower now is it? I was merely stating that the block is extremely tall and the pan is pretty deep, and that combined it forces the engine to set very high in the boat. Nothing more.
