I woke up to the sound of helicopters repeatedly flying over my house, and then one of my friends called to see if I was safe.

First thing I saw looking out my front door to the west.



Then caught some of these guys





I was below the eastern boundary of the fire, this shot isn't real sharp due to distance and smoke, but you can see the trucks, firefighters and forestry workers getting it knocked down,, no longer any flames in the area above me.
