Seems I did hear about a larger (bigger than 5.4) CID modular recently
The 4.6 was NEVER used in the Shelby 500. The first years were 5.4, the newer ones are 5.8.
The Ford COBRA, and MACH 1 were DOHC 4 valve 4.6. The Cobra was an aluminum block, the Mach was iron block. The Cobra was IRS, the Mach was solid live axle.
The "500" tag is nothing more than a throwback to the Shelby 500, not cubic inches.
Word is, there may be a "350" in 2015.
Considering that virtually everything is known about the 2015, I can imagine why anybody would buy a 2014, specially a 100.000 Shelby.
