Fiberglass Project Questions

Okay here's the deal, I need to do some glass work on the floor of my boat. I'm looking for some detailed instructions to make sure this gets done correctly.

I have messed around with fiberglass before, I have had good results, I think. But for the project I'm about to start I want to make sure it gets done correctly. So some step by step would be great. I need to build up an area about .750 - 1.00 inches thicker. Then was thinking about gelling the floor and stringers and color sand & buff.

1. Where and what do I purchase for materials.
a. Where to purchase in SFV or SCV?
b. What type of resins needed?
c. What type and weight of mat needed?

2. If I'm working on the floor already, maybe it's time to gel, flow coat or what ever it's called.
a. What is the best material to use, gel or ?
b. Instructions?

3. If there are some really good write ups on this, could you please post them up?
