One of my kid's birthday is on the 27th, so when they were little we took the tree and all decorations down on the 26th so they didn't think there are two Christmases. LOL. Now, Mrs. Rogerthat likes to leave everything up until after the 1st. If it was up to me, the Christmas tree would be out in the driveway by 11am on the 25th.

Tree and outside lights through new years day. Tree kicked to the curb for recycling and lights wound up and back in the rafters with the ornaments and house decor.

It takes us a while over here...the lights have to come down off the house...the house has to be taken down and some furniture has to be rearranged...plus this year is the last year for the fake tree we have been using for the last several years...have no decided yet whether we will go back to real or fake next year..time will tell...so usually the weekend after New Years is the target to get it all done....

Tree went down today (fake) but lights will stay up until after the new year.

Starve it of water now, take the lights and decorations off, then it's nice and dry for the New Years campfire and makes everyone warm for about a hundred feet wide 😷

    Too funny.
The outside is my job, inside the wife's.
We got a real tree this year for the first time in 5 or 6 years. The fake tree just wasn't gonna cut it this year. Not sure if we're going real tree or fake next year.
Normally be up until after New Years but probably be done and gone this weekend.
