You can see in that last picture where somebody else painted over a stripe that ran the length of the boat just above and below the rub rail. This is an example of what not to do. If they wanted the old graphic gone they should have brought it to a quality shop that would have sanded out the old gel and sprayed the entire area white. Doing the repair right with gel coat would not have cost to much more than doing it wrong with automotive paint and it certainly would have been cheaper in the long run.
