Nothing official, but there is talk that Mercury Racing may introduce a special 'racing' edition of their 1350 HP package rated at 1700 HP at the 2013 Miami Boat Show. Most likely a 'race gas only' engine. Wonder what the price tag will be? I guess if I have to ask, I won't be buying a pair!

Mercury Racing 1700 HP?
I'm thinking 1700 in a M29 would work great if you could get a prop big enough to keep it off the rev limiter

I'm assuming if Mercury Racing introduces the new 1700 HP at Miami, it will make it's southwest debut at the Lake Havasu Boat Show and Desert

I believe the 1350 is around $205k? The 1350 sure is pretty
