    Carbide.
    Tap them with a hammer and they chip.
    Run 30K weight on them for thousands if feet through rock, dirt, abrasive sands and it doesn't phase them.
    Well, MOST of the time!
    I've been known to fuck them up pretty good!!
    Sliding is harder on them them rotating because you load the radius more than the nose profile.
