Now that you mention it, I think Don was the guy that said he wouldn't do it again. Did he flip?

Who remembers Dan Pastorini's drag boat career? He raced a Jetboat.

I was there that day with my Pop's, he was running his "Bunky" boat in the drags,............the story I heard went something like this :...........Don was getting some last minute "advice" on the ramp just as the crew was pushing him off the trailer, Prudhome asked "what do I do if it get's "squirley" ? somebody told him to "just stick your foot in it, it'll straighten itself out: and THAT's exactly what he did ! the bow kept going up, up & up, he never did lift off the gas just kept it WOT till he went all the way over
