So Eli's name really isn't Eli?

Story from my friends long ago (all of us call each other joey) and when I started posting on boating sites ten years ago when I had time after I retired seemed like to fit, so Jim became joey, but I don't hid my real name or face, I'm a real transparent guy.

Just Call Me Eli and I will respond to it. I don't hide my name, if I meet you in person I always introduce myself with my name. But, considering most people who read these websites don't have to log in and I don't have a very common name, I prefer not to give everyone access to it. It's just for my own protection and I ask people to not refer to me by my name on public forums. I'm an open book, I'm just not an open website
