Xbox One Report....
Have had it hooked up for the better part of the day today. This is the Day One Edition, and it fucking rocks boys and girls. You can run your TV right through it which frees up a HDMI slot on your TV which you can now use for something else. Also plays Blue Ray disks, has NFL on it, Netflix, Movies, I downloaded the extended version of The Hobbit today and I gotta tell ya, it looks so real I thought I could reach out and touch it...easy Grads with the Porn comments...LOL...even if you never play a game, just for the movies and entertainment (it also does internet) this think gets it done. Steve, put one of these in the front room, you wont regret it. I am running it with a new Samsung 60" LED with a 240 refresh rate...amazing...here is a screen shot...

I might have to pick one of these up, I'm so far behind the times with all this tech it's kind of sad and I'm only 30. I'm really going to be in trouble when I'm old and 40.

Im not really into the gaming consoles....I know when I was at best buy two weeks ago, there was a line starting outside bc the PS4 was going to be released in 3 days. Just makes me think to myself, dont people value their time more than to just wait in line 3+ days for a console.
Time value of money people!
I heard some people were able to pay ahead of time and just go and pick them up when they were released. That seems to be the best way to go.

Hey buddy, I get into a lot of things...I have decided I like movie nights at the house with the wife or with friends over....so even though I still game, I have moved over to the movie side of things also. Which is why this thing is so damned awesome. You literally can run your HDMI cable from the back of the sat box to the back of the XB1 and out from there to the TV. This also gives you back an HDMI slot on the back of the TV that you may want to use for something else, and you can switch from live TV to XB! seamlessly. All done through voice commands now, as well as internet. Still playing with it, getting to figure it out, as I just installed it yesterday. Easy install, easy learning curve. As for Christmas, best thing to tell you is to get to Gamestop, or maybe the guys at Target and see if you can get one of them to text or call you as they come in. If you get lucky enough to find one, it will set you back about 5 bills, but it is money well spent. I am not sure I was expecting to be this amazed, but I sure was last night and it sure was/is fun having this thing up there. I have decided I am going to add a 46" Samsung downstairs with a 240 refresh and a second XB1 to the downstairs this spring. That will loosen up a box to go up to my wife's TV in the master retreat upstairs and she can get her Netflix fix as she wants. At that point we will have 4 Xbox's in the house.

I went to Best Buy last night and there were folks camped out in front already. I asked them, what are you waiting for that is so cool you gotta camp out for it? They said $1.99 DVD's. Seriously? I don't even use DVD's any more. I just download the movie. Ugh. I preordered mine directly from Microsoft, it was overnighted (for free) directly to my front doorstep and was here by 10am Friday morning. I had mine before nearly everyone else, and no waiting. Nice. I like the Xbox over the PS4 but they both have powerful strongpoints and devoted followers. Either way, you will be happy....
