    Staying at the Hyatt is a 15 to 20 minute walk to downtown. I think it all depends on what you want at your doorstep.
    Both hotels are nice IMHO. Btw, what were the rates for the Waterfront Hilton next to the Hyatt?
    I've narrowed it down to the Shorebreak and the Waterfront Hilton. In your opinion which one is nicer/updated? They are both about $250-275 a night for an Ocean view room.

    Shore break is about 3 years old, The Hilton is about 15. The Hilton has a pool whereas shore break does not. If you and the wife want to be in the mix of things, stay at shore break. It's pretty classy and you can walk to whatever you. It's off main and they've got all newer shops on that street without the bar feel.
