Nothing against outboards, just not my kinda "race boats", kinda like motorcycle racing, some people like supercross/mx racing, me ? I much prefer flat track, I raced both back in the day, and, I grew up on flat bottom boats with the ski racing, going to the Salton City 500, Elsinore 500, Berryesa an the like.
