Of course after they give him an implant, they will be talking to him from inside his head for the rest of his life, he may have the occasional seizure from time to time. But that's a small price to pay to keep us all well informed.

It doesn't matter what it is. Is says PHOSPHORUS on it. That shit alone, if it gets on you will burn right through you. There are freight cars out there that carry the stuff, when they derail and crash, and the material gets exposed to oxygen, it NEVER EVER EVER stops burning. They bury it on the spot and put up a fence around it. This is a link to the NIOSH book, the HAZMAT bible out there.....here are two different takes on the same thing.....

It's use in the Iraq war....

In April 2004, during the First Battle of Fallujah, a reporter from the North County Times described U.S. Marine mortar teams using a mixture of white phosphorus and high explosives to shell a cluster of buildings where Iraqi insurgents had been spotted throughout the week.[11] In November 2004, during the Second Battle of Fallujah, Washington Post embedded reporters stated that some U.S. artillery guns fired white phosphorus rounds that "create a screen of fire that cannot be extinguished with water." [12] Insurgents reported being attacked with a substance that melted their skin, a reaction consistent with white phosphorus burns.[12]

And you hiked this shit out for two miles.....Good God. I should come up there and shake you.....stay away from shit you find. Leave it alone dude. Seriously. Paddle around, don't touch. Ugh.

Well Grads, now that we know what killed the fish, and the military can no longer allow you to know what you have seen, AND your battery is going dead, I would say you are up the proverbial creek. But hey look on the bright side, you still have a paddle. MAYBE!
