I've always said I will instantly propose to a girl I'm dating if I find out she can back up and down a trailer and cast a conventional style fishing reel (non spinner reel).

    You know what's weird??

20 years ago my wife had no issues driving the boat.....she even made me put in an adjustable drivers seat so she could reach the pedal in those days.

She would pull me when skiing and drive the boat on and off the trailer when we launched.

Fast forward 20 years and I can't even get her to drive the pontoon when we are in the middle of the lake never mind driving on and/or off the trailer. It's like one day she woke up and decided she didn't want to have anything to do with driving either boat.....like I said weird!

    Anyone else been through this???
