That town has certainly changed in the past 30 years......now a very nice "Bedroom" community when I met the wife it was not that great (to put it nicely)

Exactly, I was stationed at Travis from 1981 - 1985. It was a lot better back then through the early 1990's. My wife's parents still live there and we own two houses (bought new) on the north side of Hwy 80. But, honestly that place has turned into a real shithole. Vacaville on the other hand has turned out really nice.
