We've had a house down here for exactly a year and unlike back at LOTO where we had mosquitos and flies, we have had no problem with bugs, none, nada, the reason for the screen is the inside/outside living, the back of our house is all sliders and windows, so from October to April the air con is off and we live with the house open.
Bugs that's funny, every place has some kind of flying little chits, the reason other places don't have them is because of the weather doesn't allow them, they're a must to open up your house to your Lani and pool.
