There are things in that boat that the average person would never notice and Dave refused to let them slide. He has done a few restos of boats and dragsters, but this thing went over the top with him. It took its toll on him as well. I don't think there is another project he was so glad to see done and gone.
Right down the Phisohex primer bottle. I remember the search for the steering wheel. He found several that were very close, but not exact (nobody would have noticed the difference). Dave was finally able to track down the exact wheel.
