Mooring Area GUIDELINES
Please read the following Mooring guidelines carefully, as these rules are necessary for your safety and the safety of others. Failure to comply with these guidelines will result in ejection from the race site, forfeiture of all money paid, and cancellation of future renewals for the event.

PLEASE READ – MOORING CHECK-IN PROCEDURES-----NO EXCEPTIONS

1). Check-in hours for LODBRS Thunder On The River are as follows (NO EXCEPTIONS): Boats will be allowed to enter the Mooring area at 7:00am Friday through Sunday.

2). No selling / Vending of any kind is permitted in Mooring areas, parking lots, or any other areas that are under control of Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series.

3). All vessels shall display / affix the issued Mooring pass to the highest most visible point on the vessel as per instructions on the Mooring permit. Stickers or flag should be applied upon receiving packet at event site. Failure to display proper mooring credentials will result in immediate removal of the vessel from the race site without notice or refund.

4). Every attendee of the event is required to wear admission wristbands (on their wrist) at all times while on the race site. Failure to produce a wristband will result in ejection from the race site. ALL people on the vessel at ALL times MUST wear and show their wrist bands if asked to do so by any race official. Failure to do so will result in the immediate confiscation of the vessels mooring pass and ejection from the race site WITHOUT REFUND!!!

5). A NOISE CURFEW will be in effect from 11pm to 6am daily beginning Thursday, October 10, 2013. This applies to all types of noise including, but not limited to, music, parties, stereos and generators.

6). Due to sponsorship agreements no unofficial advertising is allowed at the event site. NO Flags, signs and/or banners. NO advertising will be allowed on Moored Vessels unless prior approval is obtained.

7). Please direct any complaints or problems to security guards at the entrance and exit gates or to a race official.

8). Any Vessels blocking fire lanes or access will be towed immediately without notice. These rules are by order of the US Coast Guard and will be strictly enforced at all times.

9). There are no facilities for dumping of gray/black water at the event site. Disposal of gray/black water in the surrounding areas or in the water is against the law.

10). The Mooring area is inside the “Safety Zone” the safety zone is between the following landmarks. Copper Canyon to the South, Site Six to the North and the Dog Park in the Bridgewater Channel. Everything between these points is a NO Wake area. You must be escorted by an official Patrol boat in order to transit through this “Safety Zone” at a NO Wake speed.

11). You are responsible for your Vessel at all times. This includes the conduct of your family, guests and the cleanup of trash and debris.

12). No dogs allowed in Rotary Park.

13). We must adhere to all rules set forth in Rotary Park park.

14). Nudity or Offensive activities will not be tolerated in the Mooring area or Rotary Park.

15). You are responsible to anchor your vessel. Please bring the appropriate anchor for your vessel. The water is approximately 25 feet deep in the mooring area. Two anchors are recommended as well as fenders. We will have “Anchor management” staff in the mooring area to assist you.

16). All USCG Navigational rules apply in the mooring area.
Remember the race site is a “Family Festival,” please make certain that you and your guests are considerate towards your neighbors and fellow spectators at all times. We need to remember to take care of park and water and leave it in better condition than we found it.
