That Daytona you had was bad ass Grads, perfect colors.

    What engines were in that?

Thanks. It had 525's. I had scoops put on it when I built it because I had planned on putting blowers on them.

There's a 1998 Spectre 30 over on the OSO classifieds that looks pretty cherry for $48k. Seems like someone could steal it for a good price, pep up the motors, through some shorter lowers on it and have a pretty sweet ride!

It's staggering how many different boats some of you have had....

I can understand getting bored with -or- just choosing the wrong boat/s by accident, but 5+ boats seems like a lot (unless you're Cal Worthington RIP). So what's the story with you guys...?

    My first boat:

    1971 Horizon 18' jet
Started life with a BB Olds, ended life with an LS1.
Good boat...but like most, not good on rough water.

    Second (current) boat:

    1995 Liberator 21' jet
Started life with a BBC, currently has LS1
    Great boat.

I don't know shit about jet boat hulls and what works and what doesn't. Never owned a jet, driven a jet, or even ridden in a jet. But this hull has always been one of my favorite jet hulls.
Wonder if Sharp Shooter knows the story behind this hull?
