If it's not what I'm looking for as a buyer, I wouldn't contact the seller at all. I'd take this email as a half-n-insult and tell the emailer there's a big bag of dicks coming his way for him to snack on while he boat shops!

I'm sure some of the Havasu people on here know him. Maybe I could have them hand deliver to this guy.

I hate when people try to justify their offer. Like I care what they need to do to make it their own. I'd have more respect if they just throw out the number. It's not my problem it's not exactly what they are looking for.

    Bingo!

    Grads,

When I sold my truck I had 4-5 guys tell me they wanted a 4x4 and that my truck wasn't worth what I was asking. I told them all the same thing, "Anything else or are you done wasting my time now?". I ended up selling it for list price to the first guy that actually CAME to look at it. I don't take phone, email or text offers serious.

It really just comes down to how bad you want to sell something. Your boat is clean and worth just a much to the guy who wants a closed bow over open. I drove over 1000 miles because I don't like open bow boats and couldn't fine a closed anywhere closer to me for the price. It too was for sale for a while (I think about a year) and that guy wasn't budging on price much either because he believed in what it's worth. I think your Shockwave is reasonably priced! Fuck that guy and his "picky wife".

Who knows if this guy is even married??? He's a low baller boat broker out of Havasu....and he should of been honest and said that. Why make up some bullshit story? He was trying to sell a DCB on RDP and threatened to kick everyone ass that said he was shady.

I have no dog in this fight but I negotiate for a living. One principal that has lasted through the ages and always proved true is this:

"Who ever is the least motivated to do the deal, will always win the negotiation."
The best things in life aren't things!

I guess I've sold so much stuff in my life this kind of stuff just rolls off me, something similar happened to me and I tell the guy, "this is what I'm selling and at this price, your loss"
guys like that aren't worth your time to get upset, blow it off.

Ask him how much a divorce would cost? Then he'd be able to get your closed bow and not have to give Shockwave any money have it converted to open bow.

Why not make it an open bow for him DIY??

I was going to respond and say that his wife told me that she liked the bed in my CLOSED bow.
