I know what you mean here. My girl likes paying with cash and if we are checking out somewhere there are times I have to tell the worker how much change to give me. Other times, you see them look at the screen to see the amount we are owed. Times like these, I shake my head in disgust lol

I never have cash either! But I can swipe my card and be gone in a min. Actually get frustrated when a cash person is in front of me digging around for the correct change.

I hope this doesn't date me to much, but I remember as a kid the workers at McDonalds wrote your order by hand and had to add it all up in a heartbeat.

Some background, thirty years ago I had a first wife, who has been a ex-wife for almost 25 years now and she never knew when to quit, so first I got rid of her, then paid off the cards and for the last twenty years I very rarely use CC, only to buy stuff on-line like airline tickets or other stuff, but other than that if I don't have the cash, I don't buy it and I mean anything, house, boat, car, no cash, no buy.
CC owned me once, never again.

Totally understand and that is the way to go.
I rarely use CC anymore either. When I pay with plastic, it is 90% of the time with my BofA check card so it comes out instantly.
314 Joey, its Friday and you are getting beet up on this thread lol

I hear ya Joey, I never run a balance, interest is just crazy! Rarely am I surprised at my CC balance, I keep good track in my head what I charged that month. For me its just more convienent to use CC.

I do not carry cash that often, but I never buy anything under $5.00. I do not use credit cards either, quit 3 years ago. If my debit "Visa" card doesn't have money then I do not purchase anything. That is what I have WMC for and that is why I have have BOFA on my phone. All I have to do is tranfer money from his account to mine and I'm a happy camper. Or better yet just take him along for the shopping and he hands me his card.

CASH, CASH, CASH, learned a long time ago all those little daily fees add up to a shit pile extra cost.
