It never gets to cold to go boating in Havasu, just to windy! Yeah the water cools off to the low 50's, not a big deal we just drink on shore. The Boating season never ends here in Havasu!

Hopefully next weekend and then at least one more before we wrap it up for the season. Last year I was out the first weekend of November and it was still very nice!

I just put $900 into my boat this month. I sure would like to use it one last time before it's too cold lol.
I would opine that the single best month of the year to boat on Havasu can and usually is October.

The weather is typically still in the 90's (no need for a bimini), the water is still in the high 70's and all the "tourists/Raider fans have called it quits for the season so there are very few people on the water but still enough people to have some fun at Steamboat or in the channel. Every year is a little different but sometimes you can take this all the way into the first few weeks of November....some years you can't. You can pretty much peg the water temperature in the lake by the recent overnight temperature......the lake temps tend to mirror the overnight lows........not true for the river but true for the lake. Give October a try......you will likely love it!!

PS.....as far as I'm concerned the water is ALWAYS fucking freezing up in Needles

Since I haven't had my boat all season and it looks like I will finally get it back soon... I plan on going to Monster Bash and few more times... Woo Hoo.... Boating season is just starting for me...
