Just remembered. Tamron makes a 28-300/3.5 for Nikon. Bought one but never used it so I gave it to Gothalos

We just have the one that comes with it 18-55 (???) and rent various larger zoom lenses. Nick is still trying to figure out what he wants. We initially bought a 55-250 or something like that and he didn't like it. That 28-300 lens sounds like a good one.

I'd be available for some photo work. My equipment is decent and skill set is versatile. Heres the flavor of the week from my Riviera build. I have not shot any boat stuff in a while, but I have a few new tricks up my sleeve as of lately.

The camera works great for me. Kid is into sports, so we take a lot of action shots.
this was done at about 3/4 zoom from foul line fence area.
Picture in previous post was of Joey from the 8th floor of hotel . he was about a mile away. this is the blownup version.

Nikon 70-300 is a better lens than the 18-300 and will auto focus faster and sharper

Very nice. I may have to take you up on this. Have camera, will travel?
