Sorry to threadjack but, I've been looking into the NEX-5 for the quadcopter. Any complaints? Do you have any pics you can share utilizing the zoom or semi-zoomed?

this was done at about 3/4 zoom from foul line fence area.

Picture in previous post was of Joey from the 8th floor of hotel . he was about a mile away. this is the blownup version. Name: Joey.jpg

There is a chance your battery packs might interchange (do the homework), this could come in real handy if someone forgets to charge there shit LOL. You see where I am going with this, it will give you some options as a team to make it happen.
What we really need is a hotboat.com photographer. I like that idea better than loaning out a $10K lens

I'll use my camera and be the photographer. All I ask for is a mere 5k per month salary and an American Express card for travel.
This way you won't have to worry about that lense expense.
BTW, I'm not a good photographer, but I could learn.

I'd be available for some photo work. My equipment is decent and skill set is versatile. Heres the flavor of the week from my Riviera build. I have not shot any boat stuff in a while, but I have a few new tricks up my sleeve as of lately.
