Totally agree. Statement is doing some fantastic interiors. Pix coming.
Here's the wide crop on Gary's Skater.

There is a real difference between East and West coast boats... we were looking at some of them and trying to imagine a July day in Havasu walking across the deck... :culpability:

Jay, are there any events between Key West and the Miami Boat show that you cover? Do you cover the NASCAR Homestead finally?

Haven't done a race yet.
Boating never stops down here.
Our largest events of the year
Ft Myers Offshore Turkey Run, New Year's Run and our annual overnight to Sarasota are three.
Racing on Sunday was sporty- winds had things pushed up.

HaHa. flickr is telling me I have 137 images in the Key West 2012 Gallery.
Those are about how many I've managed to process so far.
Thur-Sun, 4 days ea over 1200 frames. HaHa.
The Thursday run is probably my single favorite day of the year (along with Saturday at Shootout)...
the obvious thing the pix lack is audio, and it is so sweet out there on that bridge
as I am shooting, I have to force myself to think about the sound as the beasts rumble under my feet
there is always, always, always something special about the first boat

Here you go Mateo. This was DS 2008, boat is called La Habanera, 39 Quattro. You can't see me but I was right of the owner driving it for a leg of poker run. It was quite popular with Hot Boat and Power Boat the years I went with the owner. We also flew from Phoenix to Havasu in his Citation 1.

I walked that boat when it was at the LA Boat Show. It sucks when a boats leather seating is more plush than my house furniture.

oh, that happens to me all the time... :ambivalence:
I remember some black leather with red stitching in one of the canopied boats... that did it for me.
Here's more bridge goodness... second pack approaches on thursday
very enjoyable to watch this through the telephoto and listen to that symphony of horsepower.
