Yea, when I first heard this a few months ago I was thinking "do they realize how hot it is in Phoenix for Sept"? Wonder if boat racing sanctions ego's had anything to do with splitting this away from Bayfair or there was a legitimate reason? There seems to be a lot of different factions in boat racing tearing it down instead of promoting it in whole. Boat racing over seas seems to be growing because they are United. I especially like Champ boat racing, but its all but dead in the US.

It was sooooooooooo hot I kept saying, "Why did we drive all this way to melt when we could be at the river???"... and then I remember how much I love to watch the drag boats run, not to mention support the teams we sponsor!!!

I guess there was some issue between Lucas Oil and the people at Bayfair... $$$ related, I'm sure. Maybe they'll send the September race back to Bayfair next year.

Fall race at Wild Horse(firebird) is perfect weather? Hope to enjoy some Fireball with the HB crew!

Have you seen the HB crew drink fireball? Lol. You would think for as much as they drink of it, they should be good at it by now! WMC and Wendi need to ditch the love that they have with fireball. It's bad for the HB image!

I am going, but I won't be there til late Saturday night. I have a wedding I'm going to at 5pm on Saturday and I'm catching a plane at 9:30pm at lax to head to Phoenix!
