Outdrive1 - Havasu day before Thanksgiving Day Run

I set my alarm for 7am. Went outside to check the weather. Immediately crawled back under the covers. Too damn cold is what I texted my friends telling them we weren't coming. Too friggin cold.

What a mistake that would have been. Thankfully I have friends who don't mind using guilt to get me to boat. Even when its 12 degrees outside. It wasn't, but it sure felt like it.

We launched at Cattail and headed to the Springs for breakfast. I think we had 4 boats. Paul and the group got tired of waiting for us so they headed toward Rotary Park. As soon as we finished breakfast we all headed toward the bridge. That's when the throttles somehow levered themselves up and the 565's roared at we hit 112

We met up with Paul and the rest of the group at Rotary. Hung out for a bit then headed to 3 Dunes. And that's when the fun started. I don't think we did less than 105-110 all the way to the dunes. And the OB's were in front of us.

The weather ended up being amazing. Could not have asked for a better day to run the lake and hang out with friends.

Thanks for the invite Paul. Lets do it again next year.
