NYE 2020 - what to do?

First year in a few that I dont have plans. I'm kind of out of ideas. Did Vegas a few years. Done the river forever. Not sure what to do this year.

Thought about maybe Big Bear and even staying home. Maybe San Diego?

I'd prefer not to stay home. I love Vegas for NYE but its insane crazy. And I dont like being packed in to a club like a sardine. Whats in the middle??

Also thought about Catalina. I had tickets to the Ball a couple years back but my gf at the time didn't want to go. It is stuffed with older people and the music is 1940's stuff. Checked with some of my friends there and other than the Ball nothing else is really going on. I think a lot of them come here for NYE.

What are you all up to?

Not sure what this year will be, but last year we camped on the Rincon Parkway. Did a prime rib, just the wife and I. It was quiet, but fun.

there is always New Orleans, not that crowded(lol) and you can party all night or eat at some great restaurants...

New Orleans wasn’t on the list but that is definitely a possibility.

Looks like I’ll be off for a couple weeks
