Cave Creek is a day destination and there were a shit ton of people up there all week. I never made it up there, which is kind of the norm. Only 2 ways in and out and they have all the lanes restricted for bike parking. Way too many people in the spots that host the events. Much more fun when nobody is up there and you can actually get a beer and food.
