    D21's V-Drive Parts

I made up some new 1" prop shaft log seals. They are made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a machined finish. They are 2 1/2" diameter by 2 1/2" long. There is a pressed in 2" dia. double sealed bearing with the inside diameter bored to 1.002" (to slip over your prop shaft) its also held in by a snap ring for safety.

Inside there is a double lip cup seal to keep the water out and a grease zert on the outside body to grease the seal. A standard size 1 3/4" hose fits from the rear, I also added rounded grooves to help the hose clamp bite into the housing and not slip off.

With this design there will be no more prop shaft wear of bushings to replace because it rides on a bearing.

I'm selling these for $89.00 . Let me know if you would like one. I am also have 1 1/8" diameter prop shafts seals if your interested. Thanks, Phil

1 1/8" prop shaft log seals.

Just like my 1" prop seals they are made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a machined finish. They are 3" diameter by 2 3/4" long. There is a pressed in 2 1/2" dia. double sealed bearing with the inside diameter honed to 1.127" (to slip over your prop shaft) its also held in by a snap ring for safety.

Inside there is a double lip cup seal to keep the water out and a grease zert on the outside body to grease the seal. A standard size 1 3/4" hose fits from the rear, I also added rounded grooves to help the hose clamp bite into the housing and not slip off.

New design cavation rod seal (to match my bearing prop shaft log seals). I made 2 sizes to fit both sizes of rubber hoses (1" and 1 1/4" I.D.)

They are made to fit 1/2" diameter cavation rods. Made from 6061-T6 Alum. . They have 2 double lip cup seals with a gap in between them for grease. A snap ring on the front for containment and safety. Also at the water side is a o-ring for a total of 3 water seals.

Price is $35.00 each . Please let me know when ordering what size you will need....1" or 1 1/4" (inside diameter of rubber hose).

Any questions please ask. Thanks, Phil

New V-Drive 1" rudder stuffing box.

    Square or round flange available.

New design. Made from 6061-T6 Aluminum that is machined finish.

Sealed bearing design (just like my billet prop shaft log seals). No more housings to wear out!!! The prop shaft rides on the bearing.

My new rudder stuffing box has a standard 3 5/16" square mounting flange. So it is a direct replacement for your older style stuffing box. I did not put in mounting holes because every hull is different and has a variety of hole sizes and patterns. All you have to do is transfer punch the exsisting hole locations in your hull to the rudder box and drill the size you need.

Fits all standard 1 1/2" diameter thru hull holes. I left the 1 1/2" diameter section that goes thru the bottom of your hull long (1 3/4" long) to accommodate any hull thickness. You will have to trim to fit.

Overall height of stuffing box inside the boat is 2 1/8".

Starting from the top of the stuffing box to the bottom features a snap ring for safety to help retain the 1" sealed bearing that is bored a few thousands larger than your rudder shaft.

Next is an ample sized grease reservoir which is filled by the grease zert located on the outside of the rudder box housing.

A double lip grease cup seal is lightly pressed in as a second barrier to keep water out. The first water barrier is a 1/8" diameter o-ring that is below the grease cup seal.

Price is $195. each. If you have any questions please ask.

    **********************************************

Also now in stock is a 1 1/8" billet rudder stuffing box.

Same features (except for a 1 5/8" diameter thru hull size) and price as my 1" rudder box. Thanks.

I was trying to set up a cav plate for a buddy with a straight edge and a tape measure and had a rough time doing it. There's got to be and easier way.

I made made up a gauge that is made from 6061 Aluminum. It is 6" long and 1/2" wide. There are 12 steps in at 1/16" increments, starting at 1/16" and ending at 3/4" tall.

    Price is $35.00 +shipping.

If you have any questions please feel free to PM me. Thanks, Phil
