These can go on for hours and hours as the liberals are providing us with less and less every day.

read an interesting letter to the editor, back in the day pete wilson touted prop 187 here in calif to stop illegals, it passed but some judge said it was an illegal law andshot it down, after that the illegals flooded here and populated it so as to vote Repubs out now calif is Dem and with the Donald pushing against illegals it may do a backlash against the Repub party in other states and the party will disappear.......food for thought

I'm concerned also that if the country keeps moving to the left the "patients will be running the asylum" then we're all screwed for good.

Doctor, you know I respect you and your opinion. But, I promise you refrigerating embryos for what ever reason and abortions isn't what empowers women.
It's knowing you have an option to get an annual physical for a prorated cost or free, and making sure you don't have cervical or breast cancer or anything else going on with your body, when you don't have the money to pay for it because you're in college or law school, THAT empowers women.
It's knowing you have access to birth control so you don't get knocked up by another person who is financially in your same situation, in college, and neither of you can afford to take care of a child and now you don't have to drop out of school and go on welfare, THAT empowers women.
I used planned parenthood for years and because I used them for the proactive purposes, I never had to use them for reactive purposes. I'm grateful for the organization.
Please, keep an open mind and an open heart for organizations like this. They're highly controversial, but they do a lot of good things. Without it, you would all be complaining about the high rate of welfare. Not because planned parenthood provides abortions, but because planned parenthood educates and provides birth control. It really is an organization that is more determined to prevent pregnancy and the spread of disease than any fancy doctor I've ever been to. There's a bad apple in every organization, but we have to focus on the entity as a whole, not just the parts we perceive as bad.
I'll step off my soap box. But, not without first saying I'm not trying to change your mind about abortions, those are your beliefs and I respect them. I'm just trying to shed some light as to the other services provided by Planned Parenthood, which are used far more often.

I'll agree that women's health care is a small part of what pp does however, the principal service provided - based upon their own statistics is abortion. They touted mammograms then admitted they do NOT do them under oath when questioned. They also provide other services but nothing they provide is not also offered at hospitals and doctor's offices. NOTHING - except abortions.
I also understand the importance of women having a choice - because it's their body. I agree but their choice is whether of not to disrobe and have sex - the creation of a human life is a mere consequence of that choice. Choosing to kill the consequence will have eternal ramifications.
My wonderful wife spent over 30 years of her life as a labor and delivery nurse and has seen almost everything one could experience regarding women's health yet, she never, in her long career saw a need for planned parenthood beyond sneaking in and getting birth control or having an abortion which they openly accommodate without parental permission. I'm sorry but given the real premises of this lousy outfit, I cannot condone taxpayer dollars funding them. If they can survive on their own as an outlet for sneaking in and getting birth control or abortions - more power to them but I've never seen a need for them in my large family's entire existence. I'll also openly admit that that is simply one man's opinion.
