The clubs property was huge then and was mostly used as soccer fields....Anaheim decided that would be a good place to build the rink.

Very little anymore. Last big event we were involved with there was at least 8 years ago. Big music and dance festival fundraiser for the WashingtonDC German Heritage museum.
The travel to go there regularly got to be too much. Still have active family friends there.
Dad was the last surviving founder when he passed last month.
