You're right.....Storage units this size typically sell for $10 - 15K more.....it's winter and that is the best time of year to buy a storage unit.....prices go up in the summer

Sorry Paul, but what I saw was sf 975 x per ft $61.54 = $60,000 is this not correct?

This past year Boat, RV and Car storage units are in great demand. Pretty much everyone has a waiting list on rental units and price increases have or are happening. If you can snag this unit you better get on it, it won't last long.

Yeah I know it sounds like a lot but you are also paying for the convenience of being in a storage condo complex with 24 hour security/video surveillance, shower and restroom facilities and the maintenance fee typically includes your electricity in the unit. 75' deep storage condos:
1. Rarely come on the market
2. Have been going for $70-$75k in the past year.

Alternately Building an RV garage on an existing property in town (if you have the existing property) these days is running around $65-75 a sq foot....less of course if you're a contractor and do it yourself

At first glance it seemed a lot, but I did the math and it's actually a very good deal. Renting a storage is not cheap and it would be great to have a shower so the stinky guy can shower after working on the boat in the heat and before the long drive home. The security is also a plus.
