Why can't the first lady "put her hand on her heart" during the national anthem and on Veterans Day, what a disgrace.

I agree and at the last few events I went to I looked around and about only 40% of the people, maybe less, actually put their hands over their heart. I say we ship them to Iran for a month, I guarantee upon return they'll never forget about the respectful placement of their hand. It shouldn't have to take living in a different country to appreciate the wonderful one we live in.

I make it a point to take my hat off and put my hand over my heart. Very frustrating seeing people that do not do this....

I think most people have the hat thing down, but they missed the memo on the hand. I love to sing it too. Such a beautiful and inspiring song. I wonder who wrote it. It's so perfect it can be sung in any genre.

Why are the most liberal states and cities the one's that are most in debt and almost in bankruptcy and the most conservative one's have the biggest surpluses, doesn't that mean something.
