Just for grins, if you check out your General Motors and Ford engine's firing sequences, you'll find that they both fire their cylinders in the same order. GM and Ford simply assigned their respective cylinder numbers differently, but they both fire cylinders in the same order, so the rag of "who's smarter" based on a firing order is moot.
