lets see some of your best pics of your whacker powered hot rods! tell us the history behind the boat and how it runs
this is my stoker...i bought the boat sight unseen while i was in afghanistan in 2010...it was kind of a basket case when i got it but when i got back state side i picked the boat up and got to work on it. i had my dad help me with a "rush" rigging job just to get it on the water...first trip to the lake with a 2.7 ltr 200 xp e-rude it ran right at 80 with a 26 mazco...now it has a new interior in it and a mildly warmed up 3 ltr e-rude and should be running in the high 80's low 90's (i still have a few hours of break in time on the new motor before i really get on it)
my dads v8 powered eliminator 207 edge
The V8 powered edge pictured above started life out as a stern drive...my dad bought it as a bare hull, patched the hole where the drive used to be, reinforced the transom and hung the V8 on it. we built the interior from scratch and did all the rigging ourselves...that boat has provided some of the best father & son memories during the build and out on the water...it'll run in the low 80's all day as long as you have gas...lol
this was a common practice when i was a kid...lol
