    The engines are all 80's and early 90's fishing engines bolted up to Omc racing mid sections and lower units that were produced about the same time. SeaWay Marine out of Washington state is saving the class by casting new blocks, mid sections and powerheads as well as stocking replacement parts.

    THis was the first time for me to see the SE boats run... It makes me want to put my 347 in the sanger hydro and get with it... Thanks for the pics Vic, nice work...

    Vic, the funny/sad thing about choosing this boat for your comment is that the SE 56 boat is driven by Paul Grichar and that arm he is steering with doesn't work.....

    So just before this shot, he would have used his left arm to pick up his right arm and place it on the steering wheel so that he could wave with his left....

    You sure that you want LA drivers to be so friendly and then drive with a dead arm?

    I'll take a dead arm wave over the bird any day of the week and twice on Sunday
