What a bunch of primma donnas. What's the use of having shit if it doesn't get used. A good friend (couple) of ours, early 50s, live in a 10 or so year old house and have never once used their kitchen for anything more than microwave food. Yea, their place is spotless but come on, how boring.
I cook and clean in my kitchen everyday. The stove is definitely the most pain in the ass to clean. The sink kind of sucks too but but has to be done.
