I wonder if its early or there just isn't the crowd of years past? So far it looks a little sparse.

I heard they were going to try and enforce registration this year. To the point that if you were in a boat in the area, you have to be associated with a group of "registered" tubers.

Hopefully its just early and the big groups are still on their way.
