A map is a must for newcomers. It's not really that tough just when you go into a canyon you have to remember whether you took a right or a left when you entered it. The main channel has mile marker buoy's so with a map it is really easy to navigate. Originally Posted by Eli

I have been once when I was 10 years old with my moms BF at the time. I was way to young to appreciate it....
