Background Check

Anyone know how to check someone's background? Are criminal records public records? I've looked at several "free" websites, guess what, they're not free. I don't care about the money, it's all the info they want from me. Very apprehensive these days.

It isn't free. There are services you can use or subscribe to, but they will charge you. If you're an employer and use a payroll service like Paychex or ADP they may be able to help you.

www.lexisnexis.com if you don't have an account, you can pay for the background check. I have an account so I'm not sure how much it costs.
