That was due to the type of rudder were trying out. We tested at Irvine once time before taking the boat to the race. I have a rudder that was on my wood cracker that I will mount up to the new boat this weekend. That will solve the sliding issue we were having

The box is concealed under the dash. I truly believe they are just a piece of shit since the box/coil we replaced didn't even make it through a weekend

What are the ignition rules for crackers chief? What are your options?

From a performance perspective could you get away with a conventional HEI and a quality coil versus the "hot rod" stuff?

Are the failed part/parts new warranty parts or are they available for dissecting? I would like to take a failed unit apart and find the source of the failure.. (bad traces, cold solder joints, failed parts, vibration, poor workmanship)

No ignition rules for crackers. We have had failures with multiple types of msd boxes and coils. We are likely going to a pro mag or super mag to hopefully kick that pain in the ass issue

Seems like MSD goes through cycles good/bad/good/bad... I was wondering if mags were legal in your class...
