I'd rather bring some good steaks from home and BBQ. I go to the river to get away from city life. I'm not huge on hitting all the bars and restaurants every weekend. I want to be away from people.
Cha Bones is pretty good there's not a lot of privacy though and I felt cramped when i was there. I have never eaten at Javalina Cantina, I have heared it is good though. We stay at our timeshare @ the FCC/Nautical when we are in Havasu so no BBQ for us. Someone got hurt stepping on hot coals so they outlawed the BBQ's sometime ago.

I agree Cha Bones feels more like a bar than a restaurant.

I can't recall the name, but there's a steak house on the south side of town I've been to twice. The food was good. Not the nicest place in town, but the service and food were good.

I'm guessing you'er talking about the Montana Steakhouse......not too bad but like you say nothing fancy.

I make a better steak at home so like it's home we go.......plus I can promise you I have a better wine cellar than ANY restaurant in town including Shugrues which has the best!! Most restaurants in Havasu think Kendell-Jackson, Vintners Reserve is "Top of the line"

    Yep! Montana's is it.

I agree. I can make a better steak and a better cocktail myself in most cases.
