A: The firefighters pay for their own food each day. If time permits and they are not busy running calls, you may see them shopping at a grocery store that is within their first-in area--the area in the city that each individual engine or truck is responsible for providing service. Firefighters do not get lunch breaks, or time off during the day, so many times you will see them leave the store while shopping to respond to an emergency call.
I think most people KNEW they pay their own food. Thank god their are still no free lunches in city employment yet.
This isn't about who buy the damn food, it WHEN AND HOW they buy it compared to you and I.
I don't think Tish is allowed to that the train to the store. I hope.
Airline pilots don't take the plane to go shopping.
I will admit to taking a company truck to go shopping, ON MY WAY HOME AFTER I AM OFF WORK!!!!!

I didn't buy that truck for those elitist to go grocery shopping. Its goddamn fire truck bought for and intended to be used to respond to FIRES!!!!
Not grocery shopping, or 6 trucks responding with the paramedics when granny calls and says shes fallen down can't get up.
