Big brother is here. Though I can see the practical use of one of these gizmo's, I find it a little disturbing that it will use other people's phones to find your "missing" device if that device is out of range and another user is within 100' of it.

Practically speaking, this little gem would be a lifesaver in my domain on occasion. But I'm not sure I like the idea of my phone being used to locate other people's missing "items". And I wonder If there will be legal issues with this.

Interesting device. Interesting concept. And unfortunately it is the future.
